Description

With the whole world online today it is important to know not only how your digital profile looks to prospects and customers, but also how your business appears online in relation to your competition.

When was the last time you took a really hard look at how you’re measuring up to your competition? Are you ready to find that competitive advantage you’ve been looking for?

Through the online competitive analysis the consultant will do a deep dive review of 3-5 of your nearest competitors and provide a report on how you are stacking up against them.

Scope: 

  • The project begins with a 1-hr kickoff meeting between the client and the consultant. The client should be prepared to talk about their industry, target market and competition
  • The client must provide the names and websites of 3-5 clients in writing to the consultant.
  • The consultant will then review the competitors’ websites, social media, and online histories as well as reviewing the same for the client.
  • The client and consultant will hold a second meeting where findings and recommendations will be presented and explained.

Deliverables: Upon completion of the study and after presenting it to the client, the client will receive a pdf report  . 

The report will cover the following for each competitor:

  • Website review with page by page breakdown (limited to menu pages, footers)
  • Social media review for each property the competitor uses
  • Web search findings
  • Recommendations

Timing: The entire process takes 2-3 weeks from the initial meeting to the follow-up meeting and report. A specific timeframe for execution will be agreed between Client and Consultant after purchase.

Any follow-up on recommendations would be an out-of-scope project subject to a separate engagement

Assumptions:

    • Client will provide 3-5 competitor names and websites to consultant for work to begin.
    • Out-of-Scope of additional requests will require a separate Engagement.
