Whether it’s a single complex process or a collection of department processes, I’m here to support you with whatever your documentation needs are. You would like to map out your processes in detail or look at it from a high level. The first step to defining your processes involves documentation through the form of work instructions, job aids, process mapping, SIPOCs, SOPs, Reference guides, or forms. Visualizing the process from end to end allows you to see the bigger picture and understand where manual activities exist, gaps may lie, and opportunities for improvement reveal.
Scope:
The documentation package and following scope of work will be as follows:
- 1 Kickoff Session – Confirm process scope, goals, stakeholders, and pain points
- Up to 3 Stakeholder Interviews – Gather current-state process details
- 1 Formal SOP – Complete standardized process document
- 1 Swimlane Process Map – Visual role-based workflow
- 1 SIPOC – High level process summary
- 1 RACI Matrix – Role clarity and accountability
- 1 Review Session – Walkthrough with process owner and SMEs
- Process Documentation Case Summary
- Final Revised Package – Clean final version ready for use

Timing:
- Depending on the client’s needs overall.
- Depending on process complexity, the following timeframes represent an average for most meeting sessions:
- Kickoff Session ≦ 1hr
- Working Sessions/Review Sessions ~ 1-2 hrs. depending on process complexity
Assumptions:
- This service assumes the client will provide timely access to process owners, subject matter experts, existing documentation, systems information, and required approvals.
- The consultant will document and standardize the agreed-upon process based on information provided during discovery, interviews, walkthroughs, and document review.
- Final approval, implementation, training, enforcement, and ongoing maintenance of the process documentation remain the responsibility of the client unless otherwise included in the scope of work.
- Additional processes, major revisions, automation, system configuration, training rollout, or process improvement implementation may require a separate scope, timeline, and fee.
