Description
Process Prioritization involves helping organizations identify, evaluate, and rank business processes based on impact, risk, complexity, customer value, and improvement opportunity. This service will provide ad hoc support to help you to understand how impactful your processes are to your overall business and customer base, as well as help to understand where to concentrate your focus on identifying and implementing improvements.
Scope:
Note: This service is a collaborative exercise, so the consultant will facilitate, host, and train throughout the entire development of this package.
- This service is intended for small lists of 10 or less processes or department level review.
- Identify key business processes across departments or functional areas.
- Gather process information from process owners, stakeholders, documentation, reports, and available performance data.
- Define prioritization criteria such as business impact, frequency, risk, complexity, customer importance, error rates, rework, delays, and strategic alignment.
- Create a scoring model or prioritization matrix to compare processes consistently.
- Facilitate discussions with leadership and process owners to validate process priorities.
- Rank processes into priority levels such as High, Medium, and Low.
- Recommend which processes should be addressed first based on value, urgency, and available resources.
- Provide a summary report showing the prioritization results, rationale, and recommended next steps.
- Support the client in building a roadmap for future process improvement, documentation, standardization, or automation projects.

- Scoring Summary of the prioritization matrix
- Priority Ranking Report
- Recommended Implementation Roadmap

Assumptions:
- This service assumes the client will provide access to relevant stakeholders, available process information, and timely feedback for a defined group of business processes.
- The consultant will use agreed scoring criteria to evaluate and rank processes, provide a prioritization matrix and summary report, and recommend a high-level roadmap for future improvement, documentation, standardization, or automation efforts.
- Full implementation, process redesign, SOP creation, automation development, or detailed project management support are outside the standard scope unless added separately.
