Description

There are important decisions to be made, after having written your business plan and created your brand guidelines, that involve spending a certain percentage of your launch budget to reach your target audience. After all, you will have clearly defined who will be buying from you and why they will buy from you, but the question remains as to how you will actually reach them and let them know your company exists.

Tailored to the startups of the world and their various budgets, you could walk around the block, knock on doors and introduce yourself and your offering, explain its value and seek a sale, or you could create and launch an advertising campaign, or a public relations campaign or a promotional campaign, or any combination of those options, among others, depending on the availability of time and money.

In order to make your life much less complicated upon launch, when you are inevitably approached by various companies offering to sell you their professional marketing services – and they can be quite aggressive to the uninitiated – it’s helpful to have The Introductory Marketing Plan to guide you through the decision-making process, whereby you can turn to any seller and state without apology: “It’s not in the plan.”
