I get excited about understanding target customers, carving out a niche in a market, honing value propositions, building successful go-to-market strategies, crafting excellent stories, and launching products that truly meet customers’ needs.

I love working with scrappy teams focused on getting things done quickly and efficiently. I have taken many new products from concept to launch. While I have experience across most traditional marketing channels, I particularly enjoy employing unique digital marketing strategies and unconventional marketing tactics to get you the right customers at a great price.

  • Built a marketing team and strategy for an outdoor products company that has resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars of sales through some of the world’s largest retailers (e.g. Amazon, Walmart, Target, Sam’s Club, Lowe’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, etc.)

    Jon has excellent articulation with the ability to communicate vision with passion and clarity. He is rigorous in his research to intimately understand the industry, category and target consumer for confident strategic management of his portfolio. While at Nu Skin, Jon identified both quick, easy product updates and long-term strategic positioning adjustments to effectively grow our business. One such example is the updated blue light protection claim and marketing of our Eye Formula. Jon identified a trending consumer need and without needed formulation/ingredient changes was able to add the claim to our Eye Formula. He led a Junior Marketing Manager and a team of Designers to create new marketing assets and a demonstration tool to effectively illustrate the new blue light claim. In the initial month of the campaign, our sales of Eye Formula in the United States increased 137% and has since sustained a double-digit increase in revenue. Jon works comfortably and confidently with Executive and entry-level professionals. He is strategic and business-minded with a passion and drive for marketing.
