After over fifteen years in the corporate world as a successful project manager and business analyst, I embarked into the world of entrepreneurship – as a cofounder in a prosperous small family business and as a successful strategist working with solopreneurs and entrepreneurs across a variety of industries including ecommerce, food & beverage, healthcare and wellness, and retail & wholesale. With this extensive background, I bring a unique perspective and first-hand experience in understanding the demands on a small business owner.

Subsequent to her time at ATB, as Sofia has embarked on her consulting role related to business and life coaching, I have had the opportunity to leverage those skills in order to help me develop further in my own career. I can enthusiastically recommend Sofia. During our working relationship at ATB, Sofia was a valuable partner in the success of several projects I was directly involved in. As part of the Project Management Office, Sofia would utilize her thorough knowledge of project management methodology and processes to reduce delivery friction and enhance final product outcomes. She did this by demonstrating leadership and taking initiative to gauge project delivery team awareness of PMO standards, offering guided training and direction as needed, and carefully listening to feedback / adapting the methodology to meet the unique needs of each project. Within the context of her vendor and contract management role, she would utilize her influence skills to address inadequate vendor performance and/or contractual obligation deficiencies on behalf of project teams. This required deft communication and negotiation abilities in order to ensure technical delivery while maintaining positive vendor relationships. Her knowledge of the Request for Information/Request for Proposal processes directly reduced the timeframes for getting these out for bid, directly impacting IT roadmap schedules and budgets. In these roles, it was her ability to listen, consider thoughtfully, then act to consistently produce meaningful results that set her apart.
