Description

This is Alternative Analysis (or Red Teaming) at its purest  – targeting the most complex problems and being guided by a Red Teaming Consultant through a customized, step-by-step process to arrive at an alternative perspective that informs the planning of the Blue Team and provides invaluable insights to decision-makers.

SCOPE:

  • Consultant will plan engagement schedule
  • Consultant will provide 1-week ‘crash course’ to Red Team
  • Consultant (and Red Team) will review Client’s plan/strategy
  • Consultant will request additional information
  • Consultant (and Red Team) will critically analyze plan/strategy
  • Consultant will consider a range of alternative options
  • Consultant (and Red Team) will develop and write a Critical Assessment of Plan/Strategy, an Alternative Analysis Brief, and a Findings Presentation & Recommendations to improve the plan/strategy
  • Consultant (and Red Team) will recommend improvements for the plan/strategy
  • Includes a number of live meetings/collaborative working sessions of undetermined duration

DELIVERABLES/OUTPUTS: 

  • Critical Assessment of Plan/Strategy (MS PowerPoint exported into PDF)
  • Alternative Analysis Brief (MS PowerPoint exported into PDF)
  • Tailored Plan for Simulation/Wargame/Vulnerability Probe  (Optional)
  • Findings Presentation & Recommendations (MS PowerPoint exported into PDF)
  • Red Team Check-In Report at 3 and 6 months (MS PowerPoint exported into PDF)

TIMING: This work typically requires 6-12 weeks to complete. A specific timeframe for execution will be agreed between Client and Consultant after purchase.

ASSUMPTIONS

  • Client agrees that Consultant complete work part-time on agreed-upon hours
  • Client will provide at least 2 staff on a full time basis for this engagement
  • Consultant and Client will interview staff and agree on chosen members before commending this engagement
  • Client will provide a copy of all plans/strategy documents in development and prepared to date
  • Client will provide constructive feedback and guidance in reviews
  • Client will review & accept Deliverables within 10 business days of final submission
  • Client will provide relevant source materials & data, licensed, company and brand assets & guidelines, etc.
  • Out-of-scope or additional requests will require a separate Engagement
